Green and Friendly
clipart - boilerroom We use sustainable and eco-friendly wood fuel for all heating and hot water. This is from a state-of-the-art wood pellet boiler supplied by Rural Energy (www.ruralenergy.co.uk)
We use low-energy light bulbs and all our paper towels and toilet paper are made from 100% recycled material

We also water the garden predominantly from rain water butts, which are installed on most down pipes.
All tea, coffee, hot chocolate, sugar and snack bars provided in the bedrooms and Studio are Fair trade products (www.fairtrade.org.uk). clipart - fairtrade producers
picture - narrowboat-raymond Our jam and marmalade are made to early 20th century recipes, by a Braunston charity -'The Friends of Raymond' (www.thefriendsofraymond.org.uk) - which sponsors the renovation and maintenance of two wonderful, original working boats.
We use local and organic products wherever possible, with farm sausages, bacon and free range eggs in our breakfasts.
