a) Exit M1 at junction 16 (signed to Daventry). Up slip road then first exit off roundabout (A45). Follow main road through 'Upper Heyford' and 'Flore' until traffic lights at A5 crossing in 'Weedon' (Crossways pub on your left at lights).

b) Straight over lights and keep on main road to Daventry. At the first roundabout (car scrap yard and hotel on your left) take first exit onto A45 Daventry by-pass.

c) At the next roundabout turn right (3rd exit). Go straight over the next roundabout and then left (first exit) at the next roundabout. Up a short hill (about ¼ mile), straight over the roundabout (2nd exit) and again straight over the next roundabout (1st exit). You are still on the A45 - follow this for about 2 miles until you come down the hill into Braunston (40 mph speed limit signs).

d) You will see some modern flats/houses on your right at the first Marina entrance (to 'Brindley Quays'). After 100 yards/metres, passing the white workshops on the right, is the second entrance (to 'British Waterways / Marina Trade Centre') - The B&B entrance and parking are the first entrance on the left at the bottom of the entrance slope.

a) Exit M40 at Banbury (junction 11). Go up the slip road then take the third exit off the roundabout (A361 to Daventry). Follow main road for about 14 miles/23km.

b) Look out for the exit slip road on left signed to Rugby/Leamington - this takes you onto the A45 Daventry by-pass, so now follow instructions from c) above. [NOTE: if you miss the slip road exit, DON'T PANIC - follow the road round onto the A45 going South and at the next roundabout turn round and now follow instructions from c) above]

From Midlands and The North:

Via M1 Click to see map

a) Exit M1 at junction 18 (signed to Crick & Rugby). Go up the slip road and then turn right on the roundabout (3rd exit).

b) Follow the dual carriageway for about 350 yards to a roundabout. Follow the filter lane on the left (1st exit on roundabout) - go straight over the the next roundabout (after ¼ mile) and after a further 300 yards/metres turn left at the next roundabout on to the A5 South.

c) After about 1.25 miles at the roundabout take the second exit on to the A361 'Daventry Road' (Kilsby, Barby).

d) Follow the A361 round to the left and after about 3 miles look out for the signpost on the left side of the road pointing to Braunston - turn right here.

e) Follow road to Braunston - at the first T-junction go straight on into the village. Follow the high street right through until you get to the Church on your right hand side.

f) Turn left as the road bends round to the right and follow the road down the hill until you reach the main road (A45) - you will see the Mill House pub on the opposite side of the road to your right.

g) Turn left at the junction onto the A45 in the direction Northampton. After about ¼ mile/400 metres you will see the Marina entrance on the left (signpost on right of A45 points to 'British Waterways / Marina Trade Centre') - The B&B entrance and parking are the first entrance on the left at the bottom of the slope.

Alternatively:

d) Instead of following A361 for 3 miles, look for right hand turn, 'The Ridgeway', after about 300 yards (signed to Willoughby/Barby). After 1.3 miles, you come to a crossroads - go straight over into 'Longdown Lane'. At the end of the lane (about 1.75 miles) turn right onto the A45 - follow this for a further 1.75 miles (past the left turn to Braunston Village) and look out for the Wharf entrance on your left as in g) above.

By Train:

From anywhere: Get a train to Rugby Station. Then either:

1. Get the GA01 bus which drops you between the 2 marina entrances (about 100 yards from our front door)

2. Take a taxi

By Boat:

Head for Braunston Marina. Moor up on the cut outside and walk into marina - just ask anybody working there where we are.

Nearest airports are Coventry, Birmingham and East Midlands.
